Returns
Unless otherwise noted on the product listing, eligible physical products may be returned.
To request a return, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. If your return is approved, the item must be shipped back within 14 days of receiving return instructions.
Returned items must be unused and in their original, resalable condition.
Please contact us before sending a return. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Return Shipping
For returns due to a change of mind, ordering the wrong item, or another reason not caused by an error or qualifying defect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable.
If we determine that an item is significantly damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will work with you on an appropriate resolution and you will not be responsible for return shipping when a return is required.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives significantly damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
Please include your order information, a description of the problem, and photographs showing the item and any relevant packaging when possible. This helps us determine the best way to resolve the issue and, when applicable, work with our production or fulfillment partners.
Minor cosmetic imperfections or variations that can normally occur during printing, manufacturing, packaging, or shipping may not be considered defects. These can include slight bends, small corner or edge imperfections, or minor variations in color, printing, alignment, materials, or finish that do not substantially affect the appearance or use of the product.
If an item has a qualifying issue, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, or other reasonable solution.
Books and Other Printed Products
Books and other printed products may be returned under our standard return policy when they are unused and in resalable condition.
Books, workbooks, activity books, or other printed products that have been written in, colored in, cut, altered, or substantially used are not eligible for return unless they arrived with a qualifying defect.
Because printed products are individually manufactured, minor differences in color, trim, alignment, paper, or finish may occur between copies and are not necessarily considered defects.
Personalized and Custom Products
Personalized, customized, made-to-order, or specially commissioned products are final sale and cannot normally be returned or exchanged.
If a personalized or custom item arrives significantly damaged, defective, or incorrect because of an error in production or fulfillment, please contact us within 14 days of delivery so we can review the issue.
Please carefully review names, dates, spelling, personalization details, and other information you provide when placing a custom order. We are not responsible for errors in information submitted by the customer.
Handmade and Small-Batch Products
Handmade and small-batch products may have slight variations in appearance, placement, materials, stitching, painting, or other details.
These variations are part of the nature of individually made products and are not necessarily defects.
Any specific return restrictions for a handmade or limited product will be disclosed on the applicable product page.
Digital Products and Downloads
Because digital products cannot generally be returned once delivered or accessed, digital downloads are normally final sale, except where otherwise required by law.
If you experience a technical problem with a digital product or receive the wrong file, please contact us so we can help resolve the issue.
Exchanges
We do not guarantee direct exchanges for all products.
When an exchange is appropriate, we may instead ask you to return the original item and place a new order, or we may arrange a replacement depending on the product and circumstances.
Personalized and custom products cannot normally be exchanged unless there is a qualifying defect or error.
Refunds
Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original method of payment. Processing times after a refund is issued may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable unless the return results from our error or a qualifying problem with the order.
Purchases From Other Retailers
This Returns & Refunds Policy applies only to eligible purchases made directly from Poppy and PineStudio.
If you purchased a Poppy & Pine Studio product from a third-party retailer or marketplace, such as Amazon, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Etsy, an independent bookstore, or another seller, returns, exchanges, refunds, and other order-related requests must be handled through the retailer where the purchase was made.
Purchases made through third-party retailers are subject to that retailer’s own return, refund, exchange, and shipping policies. Poppy & Pine Studio cannot process returns, exchanges, or refunds for purchases made through another retailer.
For purchases made directly from Poppy & Pine Studio, proof of purchase or order information is required for return or refund requests.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be canceled once it has entered production, fulfillment, or shipping. Personalized, custom, print-on-demand, or made-to-order products may enter production shortly after an order is placed and may no longer be cancelable at that point.
